Privacy policy for the BookAuthority connector
This policy covers the BookAuthority connector for ChatGPT, Claude and Google's Gemini app and AI Mode, run by Lifehack Labs. The website has its own policy: BookAuthority.
What the connector receives
When the assistant uses the connector, it sends only the tool inputs: for BookAuthority, a subject, the kind of list, a list name and how many books to return. It does not ask for or receive your name, email address, account details, location or the rest of your conversation.
How it is used and stored
The inputs are used only to produce the answer. They are not stored in a database and no profiles are built. The hosting provider keeps standard request logs, such as the time, the requested address and the IP address of the assistant's servers, for up to 30 days to keep the service running and secure.
Sharing
No data is sold or shared with third parties. Results in ChatGPT and Claude include links to print editions on Amazon. If you open one, Amazon receives your visit under its own privacy policy, and Lifehack Labs may earn a commission on qualifying purchases. The connector does not learn what you buy. Results in Gemini and AI Mode include no Amazon links.
Retention
Request logs are deleted after at most 30 days. Nothing else is kept.
